“夕陽無限好…” The sunset is magnificent…

夕陽無限好 夕陽無限好 夕陽無限好 夕陽無限好夕陽無限好

The sunset is magnificent.
Yet, the evening falls.

About NgTom

Three fundamental constituents support my life; they are literature, philosophy and photography. And I am rather glad that I don't really need them to sustain my living. But, it only implies my incompetent.

    夕阳无限好,尽在清风里。问好。

  9. Stunning, simply stunning, dear friend! Nothing like a sunset which causes us to pause and think about the beauty which surrounds us! Hope your weekend is restful!

    • NgTom says:

I am so sorry for the late reply.
My weekend was so busy for some trivial things, but I enjoyed it.
I wish your weekends would be always good…

      • And I sincerely hope your WEEKS go along well, dear Tom! It is easier for me, because I have no job, other than to take care of myself and stay alive…all the rest is, as they say, ‘icing on the cake’!

      • NgTom says:

Enjoy the coming weekend, dear Madam…

      • It has begun…and thank you for the kindness, dear, dear friend. Perhaps someday I will be able to travel again…it would be fantastic to visit HK!!!

      • NgTom says:

If you would visit HK, I certainly could be your guide.
If I am not in HK, you can visit Vancouver.
        Have a nice weekend, Madam…

      • I once wanted to move to Vancouver, Tom, because the film industry was doing well there at the time. Unfortunately, my dear father had developed rather severe health problems and had to be placed in a nursing home. I was his executor, so I had to stay in order to make certain he was well-taken care of…it was a terrible five years, and my film career was summarily placed on hold. Ah, well….

Should I ever inherit $$$$$, I would most assuredly contact you, wherever you are…that would be supreme;y wonderful, and I humbly thank you for the generous offer!

      • NgTom says:

I feel sorry for the late reply.
It is not easy to express in words after I read what you have told me
about you and your late father. May he rest in peace.
You have to take good care of yourself, when time allows you to travel,
I think $$$$$ would not be a real problem.
        Have a nice day, Madam…

      • Thank you sincerely for your thoughts, dear friend…and I know he rests in peace, because I saw the great change in his features as he passed…all lines and wrinkles and worry vanished in less than one minute, and though he was almost 80 years old, he looked very much younger!

Unfortunately, travel not only requires $$$$ but also a Doctor’s permission, and I may never be allowed to fly for so long…it distresses me, but I take comfort in the travelling I do through your eyes!

These are so calming. Fantastic photos.

    • NgTom says:

It touched my heart when I saw the old man sitting on the wheel-chair watching sunset in loneliness…

      • Al says:

I can imagine. You can almost see into his heart and the joy and sadness he feels whilst looking out there.

These are great photo’s. I love the tranquility of the water. When I’m near the water I feel immobile, almost in a trans. A beautiful evening walk to meditate and ponder life. Love it!
